Still feeling incredibly grateful — and honestly, a little overwhelmed in the best way — to be part of the 40 Under 40 Class of 2026.

There are so many incredible people in this class, and getting to celebrate alongside them was such a special experience. I’m especially grateful to share it with my friend Macy of @48fields and @schillingweddingplanning and so many other people who are doing amazing things in our community.

But one of the most meaningful parts of the night was getting to celebrate with the people who have supported me along the way — my family, my friends, and someone who played a very special role in the story of Loudoun Wicks.

Jamie of @abilenecandleco was the person who encouraged me to start Loudoun Wicks in the first place. She shared what she had learned, answered countless questions, helped me get started, and has continued to be someone I’m incredibly grateful for. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without her friendship, encouragement and everything she taught me.

Starting a business can feel like a very personal journey, but looking around that room reminded me just how many people become part of the story along the way.
Feeling very lucky to have been included in this class, and even luckier to have had so many of my favorite people there to celebrate with me.

June brought us to 48 Fields for a lovely evening together.

We spent the night enjoying the beautiful property, catching up with fellow members, and, of course, sampling the hard cider made right on the premises by Loudoun Cider House.

The evening was made even more special by our incredible sponsors, who helped bring everything together, and our guest sponsor, Dylan Galvin, who serenaded us throughout the evening with his roving guitar. There’s something pretty special about good conversation, a great drink, and live music all in one place.

A big thank you to 48 Fields and Loudoun Cider House for hosting us and welcoming our HCC community, to all of our sponsors for their support, and to Dylan for providing the perfect soundtrack to our evening.
