IS THIS THE BEST SUMMER DESTINATION IN ONTARIO?

Dare I say… YES! I spent the best 24 hours in Brockville recently and it has quickly become one of my favourite cities in the entire province. Located right on the St. Lawrence River, @brockville_tourism is a destination that truly shines all summer long with so much to do. Here are some of my faves below!

SEE & DO
⭐️ Rent a bike from @brockville_tourism and tour the winding waterfront trail
⭐️ Explore the @brockvilletunnel by foot or by train ride; the tunnel has cool lighting and music and is completely free!
⭐️ Visit Fulford Place (@onheritage) and feel like you’ve been transported to Europe. You can choose between a guided or self-guided tour
⭐️ Stroll the charming downtown and shop ‘til you drop
⭐️ Hike or kayak (rentals are available!) at St. Lawrence Park;Brockville’s largest waterfront park. And it’s free to visit!

EAT & DRINK
⭐️ Grab a takeout lunch from @sweetofeliacafemarket and have a picnic along the waterfront
⭐️ Dine on the sprawling patio at @1000islandsbrewing and order the fish tacos!
⭐️ Enjoy a bougie brunch at @anthophilecafe inside St. Lawrence Park

I rarely share my personal life on Instagram, but then I realized something: we’re already connected. We talk, we learn from each other, we share memes, and we support one another along the way, and honestly, your encouragement is a big part of why I keep creating content. I’m truly grateful for that.

I recently visited Brockville, a small city about 340 km east of Toronto and 80 km southeast of Ottawa, mostly home to retired folks. It’s small, quiet, and surprisingly beautiful, full of charm and character that big cities often lose.

During my day there, I explored as much as I could.
Cosies, an English-style café filled with colors, patterns, and old-fashioned décor, reminded me of everything minimalism has taken away from us. Their English breakfast was amazing.
Boboli was another warm, cozy stop with lovely staff, great coffee, and delicious bites.

I also checked out a few local shops and genuinely enjoyed the overall experience.

If you ever visit Brockville or any other small city, take a moment to explore and support local businesses. Your visit helps keep these communities vibrant, and it’s always rewarding to discover the stories and people behind each place.

Downtown Brockville has transformed into an Under the Sea adventure for the month of March!
