Theodore Sen Su was born Wednesday afternoon at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, weighing 6 lbs. 14 oz. We are overjoyed and incredibly grateful to welcome our third child, Teddy Z, to our family.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire Family Maternity Unit at Sentara, including Dr. Francis, pediatrician Dr. Dwyer, Kellie, Bre, Jamie, Lisa, Becky, Whitney, Kim, Ciara, Deb, and Firusa. From beginning to end, we were treated with extraordinary kindness, compassion, and care. We feel truly blessed to have had such a wonderful team looking after Mom and Teddy.

As a small expression of our appreciation, we brought the team an assortment of sweets from MiA’s Bakery (@4_mias) along with coffee from Anonymous Coffee (@anonymouscoffee.co). A special thank-you to Mia, my business partner Terrance, and our manager Emi for helping us put everything together and making it possible for us to share a little gratitude with the wonderful people who cared for our family.

We were discharged yesterday, and Mom and Teddy Z are now home, resting comfortably and surrounded by lots of love.

You know what is a fun time? Visiting the Richmond Weddings Expo! 💍✨

There are so many incredible vendors to meet, delicious food to sample and endless ideas to help bring your wedding vision to life… and a lot of raffles 🤩 We went to check everything out and even discovered a few things we had not thought about needing for our own wedding.

If you are newly engaged, in the middle of planning your wedding, OR have a different event coming up and want some ideas/recommendations, I definitely recommend checking out the next Richmond Weddings Expo. You never know what inspiration you will find! ✨

You know I love shouting out locally owned businesses! Here are some of our favorites, a mix of the amazing vendors we are using, that we love in general and some wonderful businesses we met at the expo in case you need inspiration, contacts, etc:

We are both excited to work together and bring a baking class to the Teens Wellness & Culinary Summer Camp.

What’s on MiA’S Bakery Takeover Menu?

BREAKFAST Goodies!
We’ll be learning how to make something cozy for the weekend, quick & healthy grab and gos, AND something to sustain your energy throughout the day that your young baker can make for the whole household!

Perfect to learn now and practice before those EARLY back to school mornings.🥱
Hope to see you there!

It’s BIGGER than making plant arrangements and making money for us. It’s about making a difference in the lives of others! 💯
