17 years of playing this game called softball. When I was younger, i was put into many other sports such as bowling, ice skating, dance, and even soccer. Though, softball was the one sport that stuck. If you would have told me as a little girl that I would be playing college softball, i would have thought you were crazy. Though the road here wasn’t easy, I am so grateful that god brought me here. I am even more grateful for the people that have been by my side along this journey who have pushed me, encouraged me, and have believed in me. I will forever cherish the friendships that I have gained from this game, and forever cherish my love for it. Through all the late nights and early mornings, the practices and games, it was all worth it. They always say “time flys when you are having fun” and oh, what fun it has been. Always remember to follow your dreams and reach your goals. Believe in yourself, because you can do anything you put your mind too. Now that this chapter is closing in my book, this is not the end. Next chapter 👩‍🎓 #8out

20….i can’t believe it has been 20 years ago that you made me a momma. Your birthday was this past weekend and I’m still in shock. I’m so proud of you and the woman you have become. Your beauty radiates from within and glows on the outside. Your compassion for others makes my heart smile! The fierce unapologetic love you give is inspiring! I can’t wait to see what else you have in store for your life. Being your momma is one of the most important things I’ve ever done. I love you to the moon and back here’s to many more!! @4_skylar_4
