The works engage in a dialogue with the history of expropriation and artistic reappropriation of the Palais des Beaux Arts Wien. Taking the form of bag charms, they create a visual narrative that begins with “A” for “attachment” and move toward “B” for “belonging.” Through key rings, chains, and carabiners, the works interlock with one another and intervene in public. Who gets to take up space, who screams, and who listens? Jingling, they detach themselves from the ornamental façade of the Palais and become carriers of stories told on sidewalks, in parking lots, on the subway, and along the way. 𝒕𝒐𝒐 𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒈𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒆 2.10.2026–5.11.2026 𝑶𝑷𝑬𝑵𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑶𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒓 1, 18:00–20:00 𝑳ö𝒘𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒆 47𝑨, 1030 𝑾𝒊𝒆𝒏 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘵-𝘴𝘵𝘺𝘭𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘩𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘧𝘪𝘹𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦. Närrischer Park(ing) Day // Eva Sommer (AT) Im_flieger LANDEBAHN Fri 18.9.2026 // 18.00–20.00 Performative sharing Im_flieger LANDEBAHN in front of Bräuhausgasse 40, 1050 Vienna // free entry As part of the 20th international Park(ing) Day*, the Im_flieger LANDEBAHN will transform into a Ship of Fools – with music, songs, styles, screen printing, cake, and coffee. The Fool is planning to overturn the existing world order: “Let’s write some foolish spells and make the cars disappear! Bring your own outfit or unleash your inner jester with the provided wardrobe.” At Conni Feitsinger’s screen printing station, you can print slogans like “Car is over” on textiles you bring with you. To wrap things up, there’ll be popcorn and a screening of Petra Zöpnek’s short film “Blue Monday” (AT 2024) about two young female hackers. Hocus pocus, let’s do it! * @parkingday is an international day of action dedicated to the temporary transformation of parking lots and takes place in cities worldwide.
