POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Sometimes the most powerful moments happen when no one is looking.

Recently, a man visiting downtown Boise shared a story on Facebook about something he witnessed. He saw three young men stop, gather around a man experiencing homelessness, and pray with him. It moved him so much that he posted about it — not even knowing who the young men were.

The post quickly spread, reaching hundreds of thousands of people, simply because someone paused to capture a moment of compassion and faith.

Soon after, one of our Cole Valley parents recognized the moment and shared the backstory. Two friends had gone downtown with pizza to hand out and offer prayer to people in need. What the original poster saw was simply them living out their faith — loving their neighbor and caring for someone who needed encouragement.

The man who captured the photo later shared that his 11-year-old son took the picture, and asked why they would want to photograph something like that. His answer was simple:
“What those young men were doing was something the world needs more of, and as many people as possible need to see it.”

We couldn’t agree more.

This is the kind of heart we pray our students develop — faith that isn’t just talked about, but lived out in everyday moments through kindness, humility, and love for others.

We’re incredibly proud of these young men for quietly reflecting the heart of Jesus in our community.
