Turn The Tide was a lovely theatre production to photograph. It was written for children about the perils and consequences of accumulated plastic waste in our oceans. It was at once funny and sweet, and I enjoyed the musical numbers. Above all, the performances were outstanding!

✨🌊Turn the Tide 🌊✨

Live at Theatre Arts in Obs for three more shows!

Come meet Gilbert the concerned seagull (who’s on the lookout for dolphin-friendly fish) and follow his journey as he meets the Great Pacific Garbage Patch aka Giepie.

Will he find something suitable for lunch, or will he become dinner?

(Giepie thinks he’s kinda snack-shaped)

♻️How to make plarn from plastic bags♻️

Ever wondered what to do with that pile of plastic bags that live beneath the kitchen sink? Make plarn!

Plarn stands for plastic yarn, and is super easy to make. Follow our easy step by step tutorial, as Turn the Tide cast member Dawn shows you how.

Plarn can be used in knitting and crotcheting projects - we’re using it to make one of our puppets, but you’ll have to some to the show to see it!
