We wanted to share these pictures to show you guys exactly what it takes to install our F-Style front bumper. This bumper is not fully plug-and-play like an OEM bumper. Because we added the F-Style vents and completely changed the design, some modifications are required during installation. The vents interfere with a few factory components, including the crash bar, the metal plate behind the crash bar, windshield washer reservoir, and mud guards. Big thanks to our customer @4isbuddha for sharing these pictures with us and working with us to figure out exactly what needs to be modified for proper installation. We already knew from the beginning that this bumper would require modifications, and we advised customers of that beforehand. What we didn’t know was exactly which components would need to be modified until the bumper was installed on the car. Now that we know, we want to share everything with you guys so you know exactly what to expect before purchasing the bumper. This applies to both F-Style bumpers we developed for the Lexus IS and RC350. When it comes to fully custom aftermarket body parts, modifications and adjustments during installation are sometimes necessary. We aren’t going to hide that or advertise something as plug-and-play when it isn’t. We want to be completely transparent about our products so our customers know exactly what they’re buying and what installation involves.
