These Ridgeside Raleigh pups have been working hard💪 🌙Luna just completed her first week of our puppy program, and has started going on public trips! She has done amazing on our adventures so far, and even went swimming for the first time👏 We are going to continue to build her confidence this week to prepare her for graduation! 🧚Meet Freya! This sweet girl arrived yesterday for our behavior modification program! She has shown signs of resource guarding towards other dogs and is fearful of new people after being rescued from a rural area. I'm excited to show her that we will provide everything she needs, and she doesn't have to go into survival mode around food. Freya is extremely smart, and remembered me after only meeting me once prior to training! She is already catching on to the basics, and is enjoying having a job to do🫶 Follow along in my highlights to see every pup's progress 🐶 Call or Text 910-541-1011 for training📚 Visit www.ridgesidek9nc.com #dogtraining #northcarolinadogs #ncdogs #dogtrainer #ridgesidek9nc #rsk9nc

Stop scrolling and take a second to be in the moment like dogs are. Don’t thinking about the past or future. Be present here and now even if it’s just for a few minutes. This may be the most valuable lesson dogs teach us. I know I needed this reminder today 🐶

Dock Diving 💦 Saturday, 8 regulars from our “Adventure Days” got to go dock diving! This is a fun way for many dogs to express their physical and mental energy! For the dogs that didn’t have a natural inclination for it, it’s still an amazing confidence builder. Check out our “story” or our “Saturday’s” highlight to see more pictures and videos!

Pool day for the pups 💦 9 puppies running around, playing and swimming in life jackets is adorable, but there is more to this activity than fun and playtime. Swimming is an important skill for puppies and adult dogs to have! Even if they don’t love it, it’s important they be exposed as positively as possible and practice it. Beyond it being an important skill for them to have as it is for a kid, it does always end up being a really fun day for them and a HUGE confidence builder.
