The Ronald McDonald House Southern Appalachian Golf Classic was on Monday, September 28th at Blackthorn Club. This was our 30th Anniversary of our local house. We had a wonderful day at the course and the weather was great. We had the AM Flight and PM Flight full. Thanks to our staff, board members, volunteers, sponsors, golfers and everyone who made the event happen. Centriworks was the Registration Sponsor and Hole Sponsor on the course. We raised over $120k for our local organization. Great day for our local organization. All the money raised allows us to keep families close when their loved ones are receiving treatment at our local hospitals. Great job to everyone involved in making this event happen!

We are so grateful for everyone who helped make this week so special. Great Saturday/Sunday for Clark and I. On Saturday we had the Putting for A Purpose at Paradise Acres. We had a great time and a great fundraiser. Centriworks was one of the hole sponsors. Thank you to all the sponsors, board members, staff, volunteers, etc for making this event great. We also played 9 holes of golf. On Sunday we went to church, late lunch, watched some of world cup and hit the driving range on way home. Great weekend with my Clark man and mini me!!!

History in the making! This week, we were honored to host the first-ever RMHC Tennessee Chapters Statewide Conference.

We brought together the incredible teams from RMHC Chattanooga, Nashville, Knoxville, Southern Appalachia, West Tennessee and Northeast Arkansas for a powerful few days of connection and collaboration. Together, we dived into conversations of how we can elevate the ways we serve our communities, shared invaluable insights, and sparked exciting ideas for future collaborations.

A huge thank you to our board members for stopping by to share their wisdom and support. We can’t wait to keep riding this wave of momentum alongside our state leaders and we’re so excited to share what’s coming next! 🏠

I had a wonderful time at the Southern Appalachian Ronald McDonald House donating books to keep their little library box full and to replenish their library inside for the adults spending time in the house.

While there I was able to receive a tour of the house and learn more about the caring and comfortable environment they provide for families.

I also had the opportunity of visiting the RMH on ADPi’s 175th founder’s day, which was incredibly special to me because I am an alum of ADPi and the organization’s philanthropy supports RMHC!

2026 Benefit Chair signing off!

This past semester has been one of the most stressful, exhausting, and yet incredibly rewarding seasons of my life. So many late nights and early mornings in the suite, so many moments where I felt overwhelmed, and plenty of tears and breakdowns along the way. But every single moment was worth it. Getting to serve something so much bigger than myself has meant everything to me. This cause isn’t just something I care so deeply about; it’s personal. Years ago, when my family was going through one of the hardest times in our lives, RMH was there for us. They gave my family comfort, support, and a home away from home when we needed it most. Being able to give back to something that once gave so much to my family has been the greatest honor. This experience has challenged me, but more importantly reminded me why I care so deeply about RMH. 🩵
