The official abstractions digital magazine! I’ve always grown up believing that I was destined to do great things. I still believe I have a promising future ahead of me but getting older, the pressure started to settle in that I can’t just believe I’ll be great, I have to make myself great. With that realization, I’ve been all over the place trying to figure out what is the right move for me. One day I was sitting on my couch ruminating about what my next steps forward should look like. I randomly started writing about my journey with hair and got the bright idea to make art out of my personal journey. In that second, I immediately got to creating. I stayed in my room, up for hours making all kinds of hair pieces and messaging everyone I knew to ask if they would want to model. Surprisingly so, I got a good amount of people to agree. I was doing hair, styling, and photographing every day I had off from work. I am so proud of how everything came out (especially for my first time!) and so happy I am able to share my work with you all.
