Nearly 1,400 North Carolina voters are getting letters questioning their citizenship, all because the Trump administration's SAVE system flagged them. The state elections board’s vague letter asks these voters to prove they’re citizens, even as the board acknowledges the system has a history of wrongly flagging U.S. citizens. There are multiple No Kings early voting events happening this Saturday, October 17th! Join WCI at Raleigh Brewing Company from 12-2pm to decorate your car with voting information! Link in bio! Join @50501nc from 1-4pm at John Chavis Memorial Park for a rally and early voting! Stand up, speak out, and get down with us! Come ready to cast your ballot at the Chavis Park early voting site! Rally with us at 1pm or drop in later to vote, celebrate, connect with your community, and learn how you can do the vital work of educating and engaging your network. Wake County residents can vote at any early voting site, including this one! The early voting site closes at 3pm, but we'll be sticking around for an hour after to celebrate with our later arrivals. There will also be an on site food donation collection! Link in bio! Join @wakeforestindivisible from 3:30-5pm at Centennial Plaza in front of Town Hall in Wake Forest. The polls are open from 8am-3pm on Saturday, October 17th. This rally occurs after the polls close so plan to vote before if you want to early vote then attend the rally! We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next. We will hear from speakers, including @scottpeoples86 of Veterans for Responsible Leadership. We will have music. And, we will come together collectively to resolve to get out the message to our community that voting early is key this year.
