The making of a ritual 🌙

For Aēsop’s Resolute Facial Concentrate launch, we collaborated with @romanobeck to transform an empty space into a layered, draped environment, shaped through light, scent and atmosphere.

This is the world taking shape.

Aēsop Resolute Facial Concentrate Launch 🌙

A ritual-led world, unfolding in phases.

Created with @romanobeck, the space was conceived as a choreographed journey, layered through sheer drapes, scent, shadow and light.

Guests were welcomed through a threshold ritual centred on a stainless steel basin of blue sand - a subversive reimagining of Aesop’s iconic in-store basin.

The journey moved through a dimly lit workshop before culminating in The Bed of Renewal - a floating installation in silver satin, where imagery drifted as fog spilled from beneath 🛏️

A spatial narrative where product becomes ritual.

In May 2013, Bunker started with one vision – to create memorable and meaningful dancefloor experiences. 12 years on, we hope that we’ve been able to fulfill this vision to our loyal and longstanding audience.

It’s been an incredible journey with many lifelong friendships formed, adventures shared and late nights that led into early mornings.

Through hard work, sacrifice and determination, we’ve been fortunate enough to enjoy a lot of success over the years and I want to thank all the staff, artists, patrons, friends and family who have contributed to this.

I’m looking forward to seeing the next chapter unfold in Australia’s techno landscape from the sidelines.

FRIDAY: @doom.gen.presents are pulling out all the stops - Dark Prince @ancientmethods locked for a three hour exploration into the inky night 🌌

SATURDAY: @phantasy_break burst onto the scene, taking over the @qqqst.park soundsystem for frenetic, fast, broken beats from the top shelf of local selectors 🔊

SUNDAY: @thread._____ return with a spectacular sensory experience @miscellania_ - led by @cz__wang and an impeccable mix of local artists on sound, matched with food and art to boot. Bliss. ❤️‍🩹

Wow, what a journey this has been, doing something like this was a dream but being able to do it is the best feeling in the world. Making a blank canvas venue into your own was a challenge that we accepted and getting involved in a production like that taught us a lot.

Thank you so much if you took time out of your life to come see us that night. Me and my brother @wescoeur are going to do this until the wheels fall off so stay tuned and I love you guys. Until next time…
