Crying, laughing, loving, running right into your arms. Bye bye summer — the way you flipped me upside down and inside out. What an unmatched season of love and loss and butterflies and good learning.

“New Skulls, Old News”, oil on canvas, 32” x 40” 🤍

+ been exploring a reality for cowrie shell head figures & my cathexis for the shells is coming along. I wish us humans were reminded more often how deeply powerful we are, especially when we’re together.

Onwards! 🌀✨🐚

Team Wins!! Truly proud of my potnas OJO and Da’Ra taking on their largest mural to date. O being the youngest on the team but being the captain on this project 🔥 (dude run a tight ship 😅).

It’s not a person alive that’s gonna get me to work these kinda hours (6am for 6weeks 🥴) except a person I got this much love for ✊🏾.

My guy is a great leader and earns all his respect. Running a team of artist from ages 23-60+ and pulling it off so well on his first try in spite of the setbacks and embracing the learning process.

I appreciate being asked to participate, from being the paint color specialist to painting and rolling every surface like everyone else. I’m thankful to stand under the same Axiom flag as yall @ojotats @visionarybarnes @inkfiendz .

S/o Rickey, Zach, Shad, Derrick, and Noel too we all got out of our comfort zones and wore new hats. This project was something I needed to recenter myself and find peace in a storm.

*sidenote: Mal really was out there painting, expanding the skill set 😂💪🏾

*Something else that’s super fire: getting to the site and randomly seeing different people pop up wearing their SpaceBroccoli tees. Like I know, but I know yall really rock with me.

Thanks for passing through early to peep it out. Thanks for hitting the horn and shouting from the cars. Thank you to all the photographers and videographers that pulled up. Thanks @artsneworleans & @cid_nola & @ujamaaedc

🥂 Cheers to mural # 2 this year O and much success on the many more to come.

🥂Cheers to this artwork that has and will inspire for years to come and cheers to a legacy that will out live us all.

🥂 CHEERS TO “DEEPLY ROOTED” 2025

Red Hot Juicy 5!💋(pour foam polyurethane and sheet metal)
+ exploring the 5 and figures through a series of paintings🌀(in plaster, oil, and acrylic)

//archiving my painting final projects from this spring- which focused majorly on materiality and abstracting the 5 as a bodily form- five being the number of transformation and expansion, it’s important to note, things that don’t shift or grow are dead things!

Big Mama 5 Coffee Table 🤝🏾 my take on fabricating an accent table all made of wood <3

this finals season, i had a burst of ideas for larger 3D works, mostly sculptural, this 5 was at the top of my list to make, it’s still in motion! thinking about covering her in a skin of some sort, we’ll see!

more 5s to come ;)

Made this print in May of 2024 and kept it close to my heart. This woodcut is ancestral. They received much love this past weekend at The Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair & I give so many thanks to them depicted! 🌀✨🫀

“Mother and Daughter”

:: Huge thank you to @powerhouse_arts & @luther.printshop for providing this space and opportunity and my printmaking professor at The Cooper Union, Scott Nobles, for leading the way! Thank you Ruben @realrubennatalsanmiguel for taking the time to publish my work, I am so grateful. Nevertheless, thank you to my mama Dragon for providing her family archive for me to depict two very impactful women 🫀❤️🫀!
