Sad to say that this trip to Florida is the last time that I will play with this team. I am so blessed to have made so many friends and memories throughout my time playing club volleyball and I wouldn’t have wanted to end this chapter any other way. ☀️👙🏐

After 8 years, it's hard to put into words what this sport has meant to me. Volleyball gave me a family I never expected to find. Some of my favorite memories were made in gyms, on long tournament weekends, in hotel rooms, and during countless practices. The people this sport brought into my life have laughed with me, pushed me to be better, celebrated my successes, and picked me up after my failures. They became more than teammates—they became lifelong friends, mentors, and a second family. No matter where life takes us, I'll always be grateful that volleyball brought our paths together. I never thought my playing career would end after my junior year, but sometimes life takes you in a different direction. Sometimes you have to go where you are wanted, and for me, I knew it was time. It wasn't the ending I imagined, but it was the right one. I've spent years building my life around a sport I will always love. Volleyball has shaped who I am, challenged me, and given me more than I could have ever asked for. While it's time to say yes to my next adventures, I'll always carry this game and everyone it brought into my life with me. Looking back now, I couldn't have asked for a better final season. Getting the chance to reunite with some of the girls I started this journey with was something I'll always be thankful for. At the same time, I had the opportunity to build new friendships with wonderful teammates while continuing to play alongside the girls who have been by my side through so many seasons. We laughed, competed, pushed each other, and made every tournament one to remember. Ending our season at Nationals made it even better. We played some of our best volleyball when it mattered most and finished with the highest placement our club has ever achieved. There couldn't have been a better way to conclude my playing career, even if it came with lots of tears. Saying goodbye to the game, teammates and coaches who became family, and the chapter that shaped so much of my life was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I'll forever cherish those final moments together. This isn't goodbye to volleyball—it's simply the start of a new chapter.
