🚨Congratulations to Michael Scarry on his commitment to the University of Rhode Island🚨 Mike has been a staple of the Showtime program for the last 3 years. The LHH catcher had a great summer for 16u National, he batted 344 with 2 HR and 18 RBI’s. Being versatile is something that is unique about Michael especially as a catcher. He has over the top ability collecting 11 extra base hits this summer while also being able to execute on the small ball end as an outstanding bunter who rarely strikes out. Defensively Mike was great this summer carrying a heavy majority of the work load behind the plate. During the 2026 High School season at St. Dominic Michael was the starting catcher and was a major part of the St. Dominic team that won the CHSAA New York State Championship. The University of Rhode Island is a NCAA D-l program that competes in the Atlantic Ten (A-10) Conference. In 2025, URI won the A-10 Regular Season and Conference Tournament Titles, punching their ticket to the NCAA Tournament. URI is expected to be at the top of the A-10 Conference again for the 2027 season. Congratulations Mike⚫️🔵

I am extremely blessed and grateful to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Rhode Island! First and foremost, I would like to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for His perfect timing and plan for my life. I would also like to thank my family and friends for their constant love and support throughout this journey. Dad, thank you for the countless hours we’ve spent practicing the game I’ve loved since I was eight years old. Your time, dedication, and commitment have played a huge role in developing me into the player I am today. Mom, thank you for all the long car rides, endless sacrifices, and unconditional love you’ve given me along the way. Ryan and Sienna, thank you for always being there for me, especially when I needed it most. To all the coaches who have helped me learn, develop, and grow from Little League to this point in my career, thank you for your guidance, knowledge, and belief in me. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you. A special thank you to Coach Joe Fusco, Taso Stathopoulos and the entire Showtime and St. Dominic’s staffs. I truly appreciate everything you’ve done for me, both on and off the baseball field. Your support and guidance have meant so much to me. I would also like to thank Gregg Downing, Justin Echevarria, and Reid Gorecki for continually pushing me to improve, investing in my development, and being there whenever I needed help. Jordan, Grace, and the entire TMU staff, thank you for helping me become a better athlete every single day and for pushing me to reach my full potential. Lastly, I want to thank Coach Cerrato and the rest of the Rhode Island staff for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to continue playing the game I love at the next level. Especially at the D1 level. I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited for what’s ahead! Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey. This is only the beginning! GO RAMS!!! 🐏#commited

Something I am super passionate about is lifting heavy 💪🏽 A lot of young players are trying to look for a quick pill to swallow that will magically allow them to hit the ball triple digits 💯 The answer is in the weight room and in the kitchen 🏋️👨‍🍳 I believe in lifting as heavy as possible and rotating fast often Creating a blend of both strength and rotational power directly leading to increased exit velocities 📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈 DM TO BOOK YOUR SESSION 📲 #liftheavy #rotatefast #baseballdevelopment #baseballtraining #110mph
