POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
All good things take time and in the case of ( 1963 ) WINTER we’ve been working closely with Shanice since July (coincidentally, the middle of winter ❄️) to build a distinct identity for her experimental floral design studio. The act of gifting flowers can be a bold gesture of admiration and care. These transient gifts can leave a lasting impression, so the brand needed to capture the weight of this intent. Everything had to feel intentional; either through the precision of typography, the staunch use of colour or through the meticulously-misplaced composition of image and text. It had to feel guided by hand. The spirit of gifting is rooted in the analogue. Alongside scanning in textures and flowers, we decided to work with Eric at Kopo Studio to letterpress the brand’s stationery. Being able to visit the workshop, stress-test ideas and put his vintage Heidelberg machines to use triple-downed on the idea of bold gestures. The finished result can be felt on your fingertips, firmly pressed onto toothy, off-white envelopes and statement red cards. A new vision of floristry has blossomed. No shortcuts were taken in the process. Thank you Shanice for the trust 🌹 And Eric for the precision 📐 A dream project to be part of ✨
