On May 16th, I graduated with my doctoral degree in education. A journey that few knew about because I wanted to enjoy it without pressure. I feared something would block me from finishing, and it almost did. I defended my dissertation in January, but in March, I was informed that I wouldn’t be able to participate in commencement due to my balance. I canceled everything, only to be told four weeks before graduation that I was good to go.

A huge shoutout to everyone who made the moment feel special, even at the last minute. Love you all!
