13 months leading up to this point…

I could have never predicted this.

Quitting a great job to chase down an unlikely business opportunity with my best friend.

Flying all over the country analyzing brunch concepts.

Landing in North Carolina at 3am for an 8am meeting.

Moving to Florida for 4 months to learn the business.

Coming back to Kansas and starting construction on the restaurant.

Being the youngest and least experienced person in every room we’re in.

Reading every book, article, and spreadsheet I can get my hands on.

Learning legal, accounting, HR, and real estate on the fly.

Problem solving and taking the never-ending hits in stride.

And making sure to have some fun amidst the constant chaos along the way.

All leading up to this point in time.

We’re close. It’s almost game time. Opening date coming soon… @abecafe_ict @618ventures
