Not long back from an unforgettable trip to Israel - a family trip in honour of my lovely Mum which incorporated 3 of her favourite things: spending time with family, eating amazing food and dedication to charity.

From Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and beyond, we experienced stunning landscapes, fascinating history, buzzing markets, the soaring heat of Masada, the bizarreness of floating in the Dead Sea, and so much more.

And how good is Israeli food! From the freshest of falafels with all the trimmings to delicious melt in your mouth halva and everything in between, Israeli cuisine truly captivated my taste buds, whether it was street food from the markets or any of the amazing restaurants!

But this journey was not only about indulging in delicious food and creating beautiful memories. It was also a chance to visit a special memorial for my Mum, and her presence was felt throughout the trip 💜

We had the opportunity to learn more about the Wizo charity she deeply supported. Wizo’s dedication to empowering women, supporting education, and creating positive change in Israel left me inspired and grateful to be part of a cause so close to my Mum’s heart.

Thank you Israel, I’ll be back! 🇮🇱

I recently celebrated a big milesone birthday - eek! It was an incredible few days in Scotland… we ate, drank cocktails, went wild swimming, ceilidh danced, brunched on bagels & bloody marys, and all under the scorching Scottish sun!

In true Bernie’s Bakehouse style, my amazing sister @roannahinksman & brother @adambb28 surprised me with a birthday cake that was identical to one of my sourdough loaves - I was truly impressed and can’t believe it was actually a delicious cake and not a loaf of bread!

Thank you to everyone all my lovely friends & family who came from near & far (Aussie peeps, you were very much missed but we’ll make up for this one day, as the Festival of 50 continues on).

Home this past week. With my cousin and family next door.
It’s been eventful for my boys. One turned 8 and the other lost his first tooth. 🇫🇷

Running to kids club, without us, every morning.
French holiday camps are THE BEST.
