If you grew up doing messenger work or riding track bikes starting around the early 2000s there was a handful of companies that went hand in hand with the job, one of the most ubiquitous of which is @origin8cycling Affordable, durable and available at damn near any bike shop worth its salt. Going as far back in my personal history as one work day when I stripped the threads on a hand me down stem and ended up getting a painfully shiny chrome stem, and pedals for my work bike. Quickly followed by a fork, and seat post in the coming week, the O8 symbol a point of pride as I updated my components on my otherwise stock build. Every bike I have built for work since has been outfitted with @origin8cycling gear. My current @tyrantbikes build being no exception. Stem; bars, wheels, seat post and rack. Emphasis needed for celebration; that front rack has been a legit lifesaver the older I get! I do not know a single courier in the city of Atlanta that doesn’t have atleast one @origin8cycling component. Hard to kill, sharp looking and accommodating to damn near any aesthetic, origin 8 was a big personal victory for me when they started supporting what we do here in Atlanta, they are the first brand that comes out my mouth when anyone tells me they are looking to replace stock parts on their build. Always stoked for their support and to support them in turn by rocking their gear and pointing folks their way.

Yesterday was crazy, for the racers, not us. We posted up in the park eating pizza enjoying a nice fall day and did some math.
