📝: Cinco de Mayo 🌹

Today feels deeper than just a date on the calendar.
It’s a thread… pulling me back through time—
back to 1993,
back to the people who helped shape me,
back to the moments that built my story before I even knew I was writing one.

We are all connected…
in ways we don’t always understand right away.
Through music.
Through memory.
Through the people who cross our path and leave pieces of themselves behind.

There’s something about hearing a song,
seeing a video,
feeling that pull—
like life quietly reminding you:

“This mattered. These people mattered. You still carry it.”

And today, on Cinco de Mayo,
I feel the remembrance.

Not just of history…
but of my history.

Of brothers, sisters,
family by blood and family by life.
Of women, children, husbands—
of love, of struggle, of rising.

It’s a day of heritage, yes…
but also a day of connection.
A day to honor where we came from
and who walked with us to get here.

Even when we didn’t understand it then.

I see it now.
I feel it now.

And I carry it forward—
with respect,
with gratitude,
with love.

✨ Everything is connected… even the parts we’re still learning to understand. ✨

Looking Forward To Catching her Live @ericamasonmusic In Texas!!!
.
I didn’t overthink it… I BOOKED IT. ✈️🔥

Erika Mason live in Houston, Texas… and something inside me said GO.

So I did.

This is what this new chapter looks like —
no more waiting, no more second-guessing…
just moving when my soul calls.

I’m finally living my life.
Following what lights me up.
Trusting what speaks to me.
And walking away from anything that doesn’t — with clarity, not confusion.

Because every moment?
It’s a chance to create something bigger for my future…
and I’m all in.

This isn’t just a trip.
This is alignment. This is expansion. This is me choosing ME.

Houston… I’m coming. ✨🔥

I picked up the pen and put it to the paper today. 📝
Kind of odd …of all the days 🤪 she decided to start today!!
✨I love using my life as inspiration in my art.
I called this one slipping into darkness (inspired by the 🌒, created in the 💡 )..

Innocence isn’t soft…
it’s knowing how to walk into the dark
and not lose yourself.

It drops in—
soul, body, energy.
Light… but grounded.

You’re here.
Feet planted.
Voice steady.
Everything… in frequency.

When it gets loud—
you don’t react.
You lower.
You return to calm.

Time doesn’t stop—
you just stop chasing it.

Clarity hits different here.

No more U-turns.
Proceed with awareness.
Speak with intention.

Stay ahead of your thoughts—
there’s a lion in your subconscious.

Don’t fight it.
Don’t chase it.

Slip under it.

That’s the move.

That’s the power.

That’s innocence.

Yesterday felt like stepping into a living memory.

My sister… and that Monte Carlo she’s been pouring love into for +30 years. That car doesn’t just sit there—it holds. Stories. Late nights. Come-ups. Setbacks. Laughter that echoes. Tears nobody saw. Our friendship holds stories. Our sisterhood holds stories. Our babies… our families… generations of feeling woven into moments that never really left.

And to stand there, witnessing her rise—from the bottom all the way to her own version of the top… that kind of growth doesn’t just happen. It’s earned. It’s lived. It’s sacred.

I got to share that with my daughter, Callisto. And she felt it. The kind of love you don’t have to explain. The kind of community you don’t have to question. Just being in it… you know.🥇

My heart was so full yesterday it almost didn’t make sense. I was everywhere. I was overwhelmed. I was unscrewed & quacked 🦆 open🙌🏼

And somehow… I’ve never felt more alive. ✨🙏🏼🌎

About 4.19.2026🥂🙏🏼🔝1️⃣🔐🐎
Yesterday felt like a quiet reminder…

That I don’t have to search outside of myself for what’s already alive within me.
I felt it in the still moments, in the way my energy softened and then expanded again.

We’re not here by accident.
We’re the small spark, the glimmer that keeps going—
and when we come together, that spark becomes something undeniable.

Yesterday, I chose to see my life differently…
not as something to chase, but something to feel, to live, to be inside of.

Every little shift, every breath, every moment I felt better—
that was a win. 🏆
Not for anyone else… for me.🥂👑🥇
A quiet point of vitality. ✨
A step closer to what’s real.🐎

There’s something raw and human about it all—
being both grounded and infinite at the same time.
And maybe that’s the beauty… we’re already connected, always have been.

Yesterday, I didn’t try to control it.
I just stayed in it. ✨🧬😎🕳️

What an honor to be recognized for the small things we do in the community. Thank You @dalycitygov and special thanks to mayor @rod4dalycity for nominating us for this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month. It means a lot to be noticed in positive ways.

It has definitely been a journey to break through the negative stereotypes of lowriding. It most definitely takes a team to get to this point. I am forever grateful for our members who individually and together bring something positive to our club. Community participation is something we enjoy and would like to continue. In a world where everyone has different political views it is nice that we are able to come together and share a common interest and enjoy each other without outside noise.

Thank You again to everyone that sees and respects us it is very much appreciated. Something I heard last night at the city council meeting stuck with me “I am because we are” short but deep meaning.

Congratulations to Nancy Rodriguez and the Filipino Community for your nominations it is very well deserved. You are also a big part of Daly City and we see the positive impact you have made.
