It's Quad Friday!

A mixed bag of happiness and saddness here on this Friday. While we are happy to see the return of @eggmoneymotorsports to the track, we are also saddened by departure of friend and legend. Then of course, there is the loss of a rider.

@walker_fowler has been one person we can all look up to. The rivalry that brought the hilarity of "gator bites" and McGill mountain is the kind of the thing we all need at times. The support, inspiration, and kindness that Walker brought to sport is what we need ALL the time. It has been better because of him, but his health must come first. We understand this, and wish you well.

We were deeply saddedned by the tragic loss of Jerod Guoan last weekend. We never knew Jerod, but we have heard that just like Walker, he brought what the sport needs.

I guess, if anything, there is one point to remember after this week: This sport brings us all joy, pride, and values that I think make us all better. But, it can in an instant, take that all away. Be safe, wear your gear, push your limits, but don't over step them. Remember, there's a race family that wants you home after every event.

Good weekend to y'all.

Fridays are for the sport we love. On the flat track, on the gore of MX tracks, and in the wilds of the woods for what is XC racing. We dedicate every Friday to giving a shout-out to you the riders, no matter where you rank, amateur or pro. That's what Quad Friday is all about.
