A new take on the GaGá Laboratorio DNA.

I sat down with Ruben Tomella to discover the Superleggero, built around high-tech materials, transparency and a distinctly automotive-inspired design.

The seven-part case features transparent windows inspired by vintage car headlights, while the elastic strap gives it a very distinctive fit on the wrist.

Limited to just 100 pieces, this first titanium edition brings GaGá Laboratorio’s aesthetic into a more contemporary and technical territory.

And if the Superleggero were a car? The Superleggera.

With the new Superleggero, Gagà Laboratorio ventures into uncharted territory. Crafted in Grade 5 titanium for the very first time, it introduces a radically different visual language to the Labormatic, proving how versatile this architectural canvas can truly be.

A striking shift in design, the Superleggero features an airy interplay of transparent sapphire and matte metallic surfaces with electric yellow accents.

I’m back talking about summer watches, and GAGA Laboratorio might just have the perfect cure for that seasonal itch.

Meet the Aqualab.

This is a dive watch with unmistakable Italian saper fare. A blend of craftsmanship, confidence and style. Something my Italians absolutely nail. Something that @73rubensito @mo_coppoletta and @fabioferrari96 absolutely nail too!

The one on my wrist is a prototype finished in this incredible orange colourway. I sincerely hope the team decides to put it into production because it’s an absolute banger 🔥.

One of the coolest features is the dual crown construction, which controls the internal rotating dive bezel. It’s a thoughtful technical touch and ties in style with functionality.

On paper, 44mm might sound intimidating. In reality, it wears remarkably well. Even on my 16.5cm wrist, the proportions just work, and despite being 15mm thick, it never feels cumbersome.

For me, in the microbrand space, it’s one of the most beautiful looking modern dive watches on the market today.

And at around CHF 3,900, it’s a seriously compelling package.

Now all we need is a bit more sunshine. ☀️🌊⌚
