Meet the team behind OMG, Franck! 2026 ✨ « The magic of OMG, Franck! is that it feels like a big playground for adults, a place where many things happen at once, where there is always something new to discover, and you never get enough of it. » Aurora D’Agostino is Fashion Curator at OMG, Franck! 2026, shaping the festival’s fashion shows as a live, immersive runway experience. Working across photography, fashion, and design with her team behind @auda_by_aurora, she crafts a distinctive visual language that moves fluidly between image, body, and space. Her work is shaped by a refined sense for curated experiences, a strong aesthetic vision, and a thoughtful approach to representing designers and artists. With a keen eye for staging and atmosphere, Aurora approaches the runway as more than presentation. It becomes a moment where movement, styling, and scenography come together. At OMG, Franck!, she creates two fashion shows that transcend disciplines and invite new ways of experiencing fashion. By shaping an environment that encourages connection and collaboration, the shows bring together creatives from diverse backgrounds, enabling them to exchange ideas, inspire one another, and form new creative synergies. Meet the team behind OMG, Franck! 2026 ✨ « For me, OMG, Franck! is about bringing together many different people to create a shared place for a week. A place for encounters, exchange, and moments of wonder. » Niklaus Oppliger is an interior architect and scenographer, responsible for lighting design and scenography at OMG, Franck! 2026. Starting from the unique character of the former industrial site, he uses light as a way to engage with the space and extend its atmosphere. As night falls, the site transforms, opening up new moods and perspectives. His work moves between technical precision and artistic intuition, shaping how we perceive, move through, and connect within a space. With a background in scenography, interior architecture, and educational spaces, Niklaus works across culture, space, and staging, creating subtle shifts and immersive moments that invite discovery. At OMG, Franck!, he creates environments that evolve over time, revealing new layers and experiences. Meet the team behind OMG, Franck! 2026 ✨ « Basel has an incredibly vibrant cultural scene, but it needs more spaces for encounter. » Philomena Grütter leads communication at OMG, Franck! and joined the team this year, making sure the festival’s ideas and stories reach the people. She has been working as a project manager at @theaterbasel for the past four years and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Cultural Publishing @zhdkcampus. Over the last two years, she also worked as editor-in-chief of @bebbizine. With a strong sense for cultural storytelling, Philomena connects content, people, and place, shaping how OMG, Franck! speaks to the outside world. Meet the team behind OMG, Franck! 2026 ✨ «The magic is that people come to OMG, Franck! expecting a white cube, and instead discover a very colorful, charming space that makes you laugh and feel happy.» Gabriel Eckenstein is Head of Finance at OMG, Franck! 2026 and a board member of the Förderverein Franck. With a background in art dealing, he worked closely with classical Japanese art while developing a deep interest in contemporary practices. For Gabriel, art is a way to reflect on the world we live in and the questions that shape our time. His work moves between culture, responsibility, and long-term thinking. He sees resources not just as numbers, but as a way to support meaningful projects, foster connection, and contribute to a shared future. At OMG, Franck!, he helps create the conditions that allow ideas to take shape, holding space for a festival where different perspectives can meet and grow. Meet the team behind OMG, Franck! 2026 ✨ «In its second year, OMG, Franck! can already build on experience, but I’m convinced there will be many new surprises and that we can take the festival to the next level.» Kat Fischer is responsible for the bar culture at OMG, Franck! 2026, shaping the social heart of the festival with a strong sense for atmosphere, community, and detail. She runs her own company @brut_nature_, is co-founder of @schweizerweintage at @markthalle_basel and is part of the board of the Basel-based winery @spaspaspa.ch A true wine nerd, she has been deeply rooted in the wine world for over 20 years, always focusing on the people behind the product. With a background as a fashion designer, DJ (Kat la Luna), and former music editor at Radio DRS 3, working across disciplines has always been part of her practice. Today, that same curiosity shapes her approach to the festival. At OMG, Franck!, she curates a space that invites you to stay, connect, and be part of something. Meet the team behind OMG, Franck! 2026 ✨ «For me, the festival‘s message ‘Let’s create our world in 6 days’ is a form of hope. It’s about creating a space where people from different backgrounds come together, connect, and create something of their own.» Corinne Eckenstein is the initiator of @tanzhausbasel and curator of the performance and dance program at OMG, Franck! A choreographer, director, and cultural catalyst, she has been shaping contemporary dance and theatre across Europe for decades. Born in Basel and trained in New York and San Francisco, Corinne has worked internationally at the intersection of dance, theatre, and social engagement. She previously served as Artistic Director of Dschungel Wien, where she created platforms for young and emerging artists and initiated international collaborations. With Tanzhaus Basel, she is building a space for dance and interdisciplinary art that connects communities, generations, and cultures through movement. At OMG, Franck!, Corinne curates a program that is physical, diverse, and rooted in the present, bringing together voices that explore the body as a space of expression and transformation.
