Had the best time celebrating confidence, fashion, and so many beautiful women at the Curves & Confidence Fashion Show this weekend. 💖✨ There’s just something special about being in a room full of people who show up as themselves and cheer each other on. Grateful I got to experience it—and of course I had to bring y’all along. 🫶🏽

When I tell you this weekend was so amazing!!! Hands down best weekend I've had in a long time.
Started out with me bearing my soul in the name of activism at @bella_bling_kc Dissent show. Not only did I advocate for Black women on that stage, but I told the audience that micro aggressions and core beliefs is how we ended up with Trump as a president. The audience and I cried. I was reminded that burlesque is my family and I am seen. I also got to finally meet the fabulous @ezra.prince.drag and be reunited with amazing other talented artists. Thank you Bella for giving all of us the space to say what we needed to.

Sunday began with my debut at Brunch with @miss_babydollkc ... Oh my goodness I had a great damn time!!!! Not only did I shake @zz with my hand out! But I was reunited with some of the most amazing artists I have ever met (one occasionally humps pizzas in her spare time), but I was reunited with a dear friend who has known me FOREVER, and seen me through amazing times. Thank you @cbarrett3838 . And she brought her stunning daughter too!!!

Sunday ended with a bang at @curvesandconfidencekc 13th annual show where I was reunited with my dear model friends to rip the runway! AND WE DID THAT!!!!! Thank you Comfy Stennis @roccstargumbo and @shawntra_taylor for providing space every year for people like me who get to shine in their own right. At CNC the only rule is to be yourself and that's why I do this show every year, and will continue to do so. Extra special thanks to @shona_the_model who made that fabulous dress for me that was oh so extra sexy. She crocheted that entire dress yall!!! Hit her up!

Thank you EVERYONE who came and supported me this weekend. My feet are so sore, but my heart is so full! 🤗🥰
