June 10th, 2023 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️💒🍾🥂 3 years ago today, we ditched our already made plans for a big wedding in Malibu and, instead, we eloped in Ireland surrounded by only our most immediate family. Given away by my big brother, standing side-by-side with my nieces as my Maids of Honor, I married my Best Friend and my Knight in Shining Armor @dc312 while he stood shoulder to shoulder with his Best Men, my now beloved stepsons 🥰🥰🥰. Announced by my Nephew/Godson as husband and wife was the cherry on top of an already dream come true 🍾🥂
3 Blissful Years Down. Forever to Go. 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Happy Anniversary DSC . I love you more than words can say 💝

This Mother’s Day, I honor not only my own amazing & beautiful late Momma, Mary Quinlan 🙌, but I also another amazing & beautiful Momma who was so beyond important to me and whom we sadly said our final farewell to 2 wks ago, Bev Deary 💔🥰.

Fate perfectly intervened at USC in 1985 for @shannondbell and me when we first met at our sorority, @kappaalphathetahq. We hit it off immediately, both being student-athletes at USC & Thetas. But what neither of us knew was that it would be the beginning of a 40 year friendship that also fused two Irish Catholic families, The Quinlan’s and The Deary’s for a lifetime.

What I also didn’t count on when we met at @uscedu was that Shannon’s family were California natives which gave my protective Mom & Dad back in Chicago such great comfort in knowing Shannon’s family embraced me as one of their own and of course, in return, my family in Chicago and Ireland did the very same with Shan. I have lived in LA practically ever since graduation and the Dearys and now the Bells continue to be my home away from home.

Our parents loved each other and that was meant to be, beyond just being Irish. Our Dads were both named Don and our Moms were our best friends. And it’s no wonder they were…

Mary and Bev were two of the most elegant, kind, inclusive, witty, impeccably dressed, immensely popular, loving and generous women ever known. Whose family, faith and friendships were their #1 priorities. There was never a party or an outing of any kind that Mary nor Bev would miss but their happiest place on earth was being surrounded by their family, wherever that was.

I honor not only both of these amazing women on Mother’s Day but I also honor them as my personal Goals of All Time. My own incredible Mom, I miss every single day and am still in a daze of disbelief that she is truly gone 😢. I now add my California Mom, Bev, to that sentiment.

May they both rest in peace, right beside their two Dons. And may the love they both bestowed on their families and friends live on in every one of us they loved and adored.

Happy Mother’s Day Mom & Beverly and to every single one of you devoted and loving Mommas!!! You are all heroes 🙌❤️🌷💐🤰🏻

I most definitely hit the JACKPOT in the husband department. 🤵‍♂️ Every day with this guy is like it’s my birthday and Christmas all rolled into one.
Thank you to not only @dc312 but to all of you. Your birthday messages & calls have made my day! And my day has only just begun. My husband, my stepsons, my family and my friends are the greatest present a very lucky girl could ever ask for. Thank you ALL! 👱‍♀️🎂🎉

On this Mother’s Day, I’d like to finally thank each and every single one of you for your outpouring of love, support and for your heartfelt & beautiful condolences. I am so sorry it has taken me so long to find the strength to thank you all, both on social media and individually via text and phone. I truly “went under” and those who know me well knew that I would. Thank you for your patience and for giving me the time and space I needed to digest that she is truly gone. She was my best friend and the person who always told it to me straight no matter if I liked it or not. We loved each other more than I can describe and the hole in my heart with her now no longer with me runs deep. I am coming out of my shell now and it has much to do with her sending me a gift from above to help me do just that. I have had to jump into the deep end and get on with life while working in Greece on a movie. I know she sent this to me (via @jeffhardwick8 that is 😂) and it’s just what the doctor ordered. I have had to put my big girl panties on and swim now and I know that’s exactly what she would want me to do. So I am. She is with me in my heart, mind and soul here in Greece 🇬🇷and never more so than on today, Mother’s Day. I’d like to wish not only her in heaven a Happy Mother’s Day but also to all of my friends who are Mommas here on earth. God bless you ALL and Happiest of Mother’s Days ❤️

It’s with profound sadness, I announce the passing of my true champion in life, my best friend and my idol. I am beyond shattered & the thought that she will no longer be here to grace us with her elegance, her wit, her blunt advice and her sass is something that will leave a hole in my heart forever. No matter how long I live or who I meet, I will never know a better human or a shinier light. May my gorgeous Mother rest in peace now and forever with God. 🙏 🙌
