Shoutout to @cville_skates and @7layer_illustrator for getting my ole quads back up to par and for the sticker and grip tape art. This is my friend @ghostrider9000 all the way in FL who I sent the sticker and art to. This Lil shop is awesome.

I love my vintage Indian Motorcycle of LA t-shirt, from the wonderful @handholdersvintage!
If only I skated, it would look awesome with one of @7layer_illustrator’s decks!
Haha, sorry for the cringe endorsement, but that’s what happens when you sell cool stuff to boomers. 🤣

I bought this painting from Virginia-based artist @jasonkerr333.
It’s trippy, badass, and philosophical, which is what I want to be!
I met Jason a few months ago in Staunton, VA, along with some of his artist friends: @7layer_illustrator, @handholdersvintage, @artofkxi, and @grownuppunkpub.
Not to mention @bonfirebegonia!

I had the best time at the Punk Market @solart_center in Staunton, Virginia! I chatted with artists and bought stickers and punk poetry!
1. @jasonkerr333 (in the last pic in the carousel, showing my massive merch haul, Jason’s stickers are the two circular flowers (one with skull). Jason also draws a psychedelic succubus that will sear your soul!)
2. @7layer_illustrator & @handholdersvintage (7layer, who is way into photography, did the car sticker and the Ian MacKaye Minor Threat hot sauce head. Handholder sells the coolest most tasteful vintage on eBay!)
3. @artofkxi (in hat) + fam (kxi did the delectably freaky pink stickers, which are individually hand painted!)
4. @grownuppunkpub (from her book of poetry, Paperback Criminal: “I looked out the window / to see the whole sky lit up. / So I picked up a cigarette, / and I lit up.”)
And also in the merch pic are kickass stickers (“I f&@!ing dissent” and “Poly Yam” by @crossedteacups, whom I forgot to photograph. Sorry!)

October 30th brought us HAUNTED BAUHAUS and it brought out all sorts of wonderful historic references, humor, absurdity, invention, and beauty… just like the 20th Century’s Avant Garde movements did!

@3_ring_studio saved the best for his last post for #loremdripsum2023 with these truly lovely layouts for Frankenstein. You have to click over to Donald’s page to see the other compositions he did here. All fantastic. I love how these capture a real feel of that era (especially the cover slide) while his others blend the aesthetic and thinking of then with the sheen of now. Also check out his discussion of the details in the comments on his post.
👻🏠
@ddevoll reminded us that as weird as we think we might get with costumes today, we’re still catching up with the odd costuming of this crowd. An original Bauhaus ballet outfit and some nice type. Nice.
👻🏠
Heeeeeere’s Frankie! And Drac! And more! @frazerandco took a classic piece of Bauhaus design and filled its blocks with scary dudes from the following decades to create his BOOHAUS.
👻🏠
@jeremybotts twisted the name through a sinister laugh for the BWAHAHAUS, tracing some historic letterforms, inventing a few, then warping them into ghostly flame like distortions.
👻🏠
@turningwrenchdesign did Bauhaus as seen through the eyes of skate punk design, once again drawing on griptape with Posca markers to start his piece before filtering through the ghost in the machine. See how he worked the famous Bauhaus face into his skull? Sick.
👻🏠
And at the end there’s my piece, the school building of the Bauhaus in Dessau, Germany, whose ghastly ghostly drippy letters are revealed in the lightning. Stills and a few more variants on @nolen_strals
