@vantacycling anniversary ride

Seems like yesterday @ryan3astman and @eastmina_ had started this thing. It’s so neat to see how it has grown and all the intricate details that have gone into this process of starting their own cycling apparel. I will always be grateful for them for having me be apart of their shoot. They have created something that truly everyone who cycles should try. I could go on and on but here’s to the next year 🍻 🥷

Coming back to SF was like coming back home to my younger self. This was the first city that I felt so happy being alone — nothing to hold me back. No inhibitions. Over the years, I lost that part of myself. Even though I’ve gone through many iterations, the real me has always been there — it was just exhausted from life, love, school, responsibilities, and well.. adulting. But I’ve been feeling a sense of wonder and self-love. As corny as it is, I think this might be more magical than falling in love with someone. I took what I had for granted here. I thought escaping would change things, but loneliness did follow me to New York after moving out of the Bay Area. I see now how rich life always was here. I see how much I’ve always had within myself, even after all that I had given away. My heart feels whole, and I love all the people who have consistently supported my journey. Thank you for taking the time to understand my insane and chaotic journey. Thank you to the people who have showed up and truly seen and accepted me for me after all these years — from SF to NYC. It’s hard for me not to feel a sense of regret about my decisions, but y’all make it a little easier for me to accept that I am human, I do stupid stuff, I make mistakes, but I ultimately learn. I am so proud of where I am today — emotionally, physically, spiritually, career-wise. I’m freakin’ thriving. Love you friends and family for helping me get here 🥰 Love you SF 🥹
