Not disappearing… just becoming. ✨ As a June Cancer, I’ve always been the type to think myself into a hole 🙃 replaying every situation, every possible outcome, making sure everyone around me was okay before ever checking in with myself. For the first time in almost 30 years, I’m finally learning how to sit back and truly appreciate everything I’ve accomplished. I’ve celebrated along the way… but never fully allowed myself to live in the moment without overthinking it. This season is different. It’s about taking care of Darius the same way I pour into everyone else. Choosing peace. Choosing presence. Choosing joy without guilt. I want this next chapter online to be rooted in authenticity, growth, freedom, and creating the kind of love and energy I want to see more of in the world. So no… I’m not disappearing. Man, what a dream come true. Last weekend, I had the privilege of attending the @d13asda @d12asda American Student Dental Association’s Western Regional Conference, and it was genuinely one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life so far. Since I was a kid, I’ve always looked up to the convention goers who gathered in ballrooms to network and share their passions. I’d wonder what type of conversations were taking place behind those doors, and the kinds of opportunities that were being discussed. Fast forward to 2026, and here I am rocking my only 3-piece suit and tie, shaking hands with dentists who shape the industry, and connecting with other students through our enthusiasm for the future of this profession. I wasn’t just a spectator either. I had the incredible opportunity to step in front of a camera and conduct interviews for @chairlink.ai, which opened doors I didn’t even know existed. I got to chop it up 1 on 1 with big dogs like @drmarkcostes (who I’ve listened to for years), as well as @thegoldendentist, and @sundeep99… all while meeting ASDA members from across the West coast who share the same hunger I have. We even got to experiment with some brand new technology from @bioclearmatrix which was insane. But the best part wasn’t the learning, the networking or our packed out room in Omnia. My favorite part was definitely the breakfast muffins. 😂😩 Jk the best part BY FAR was making memories with my @unlvdental family. I love doing cool side quests with awesome people, here’s to many more. Thank you @unlvasda and everyone else who made this conference happen, I can’t wait for next year! 🦷✨
