Constantly saying goodbye to people and places is so killer but it’s a very reoccurring trend with the lifestyle that I’ve chosen. Doing this so much, the countdown is what makes a lot of those moments so valuable.

I had the most kickass summer back home in Georgia. Probably the best I’ve had in years. But it was time for the always painful farewell.

A couple days ago I packed up my car, my dog, and my life and drove cross country to New Mexico! Welcome to the Wild, Wild West.

I often catch myself feeling extremely lucky. Lucky to be here, or there, to be alive and able, to do all of the things I do.

Lately I’ve come to the realization that it’s easy to overestimate the luck in someone’s life and underestimate the effort they put into creating their own luck. I’ve found that luck can be quite predictable actually. If you want more luck, take more chances. Be more active. Show up more often. You really can create your own luck.. if you try hard enough.

So this is my next chapter, my next chance at luck, my journey to the west

(‘Lucky’ to be on this adventure with you @7yric)

All waters of the sea ... are one 🌊

My closest friends remind me of the oceans.

Inno: The Atlantic, the separation between the “old world” and “new world” . A people person who values respect and loyalty.

Caitlin: The Pacific Ocean, the largest body of water on our planet but it’s name originates from its calm waters. Pacific meaning “peace”. Calm waters for a calm souls yearning for internal peace.

Dreco: The Indian Ocean, the third largest and warmest ocean of them all. Just like your personality shines through a room

Lyric: The Southern Ocean , known for its uniqueness in the diversity of organisms. Cold adaptation and evolution in thermal isolation over tens of millions of years has resulted in an ecosystem that is unparallelled. Your outlook on life makes you the most diverse, and unique of us all. A true individual!

I love you all and appreciate the time, and life you have shared with me ❤️. Give those their flowers while they are still here!!
