cleaning out the summer camera roll

Don’t think that once a hair is covered in wax, it has to come off.

Not with soft wax. 🫶🏼

I can map the shape, change my mind, remove only the sections I’m ready to commit to, then wipe away the rest and keep refining.

It gives me more control over your final brow shape instead of committing too early!

Sometimes the process looks a little messy, but that’s because I’m still designing your brows and not rushing them.

I’m using the aloe Vera soft wax from @satinsmoothpro

The one thing your waver is missing: a curling iron

This breaks up the texture, adds volume, and gives you more control around the face. The wave just needs a little softness added and then it’s perfection

This is the look we are repeating all summer long it’s so much fun and takes 15 minutes tops.

Im using @ghd_northamerica 3 barrel waver and the GHD ceramic 1.25” barrel

We also touched up her blonde at this appointment so I’ll be doing a deeper dive into her specific formulas soon! Thanks for being here and following along!

a full guide to this viral style

Here’s how I keep all my sections neat and secure:

Brush through each section before using your curing iron

Use duck bill clips that are curved so they sta flush against the scalp

Keep the barrel constantly moving when your rolling the sections. Use a “tap tap tap” motion to keep lines from forming

It’s me and my @hottoolspro against the world

if you notice from the video, I’m holding the waver at 90 degree angle to her head.

If I were to pull or use a lot of tension, you’re just not going to get any definition for a tool like this.

Keep the sections light! Add a few curls to the top section to give you more control over the final result, and now you have a beautiful bouncy summer style!

This took me about 12 minutes start to finish on dry hair! Prepped with heat protectant!

This job is no joke for your wrists, shoulders, and hands (especially when you’re constantly twisting and wrapping heavy sections)

As someone with tendinitis from 15 years of styling, I’m always looking for tools that help me work smarter without sacrificing the end result.

I’ve been testing this curl pro plus recently and I was super scared to use it at first. I thought the sections would tangle!! But turns out it’s fool proof thank god and each section came out really uniform and beautiful. This took us like 13 minutes total.

And the volume??? So good.
