POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

these four years of Maplewood High School volleyball have flown by, and honestly, it doesn’t even feel real that it’s all coming to an end. When I look back, I realize just how much time, dedication, and hard work went into every practice, every game, and every moment spent on the court. Volleyball was always considered my “fun” sport, but that never meant I wasn’t willing to put in the work, push myself, and do whatever it took to improve and succeed. Some of my favorite memories came from these unforgettable friendships I’ve made from this team, and I’m so thankful for every girl who made these years so special. Having the opportunity to play alongside Ava, Katie, Alyvia, and Aleesia, the four girls who have been my best friends my whole high school volleyball career, made this experience even more meaningful. Getting to share these moments with the people I grew up with is something I will always cherish. Although volleyball may not have been my number one sport, it will always have a special place in my heart. I’m so grateful for the memories, the lessons, the friendships, and the people who made these four years unforgettable. thank you maplewood volleyball. mamba out #18 🏐💙

I find myself reflecting on just how much volleyball has shaped me over the years. It is difficult to put into words what it feels like to close this chapter. For so long, volleyball was simply part of my routine, something i worked hard for, and sometimes took for granted without realizing how quickly it would all pass. I never truly understood how much I would miss the little things, from stepping onto the court and putting on my jersey to the team huddles, the long practices, and the people who made every season special. I realize volleyball gave me so much more than a sport. It taught me discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and how to keep going through challenges. More importantly, it gave me memories that I will always hold close to my heart. My teammates became a part of my life in ways that go beyond the game. If I could go back and tell my younger self anything, it would be to appreciate every moment, even the difficult ones, because one day, those moments will be the ones I wish I could experience again. You spend so much time waiting for your senior year, never fully understanding how quickly it will come and go. Now that it is over, I wish I could slow down time and relive even the smallest moments, knowing how much they would mean to me someday. Although I am proud of the player I have become, I am even more thankful for the person volleyball has helped me grow into. I will always be grateful for the opportunities, the lessons, the people, and the memories that have made this journey so special. My high school volleyball career may be over, but what this sport has given me will stay with me long after my final game. My jersey may be put away, and the season may be behind me, but the impact volleyball has had on my life will never disappear. No matter where life takes me, I will always look back on these years with gratitude, knowing I was lucky enough to be part of something that meant so much to me. Some chapters are difficult to close, not because they ended badly, but because they gave us so much that we wish they could last a little longer. Volleyball will always be one of those chapters for me. Thank you Maplewood Volleyball! #15 out💙🏐
