A couple of weeks ago we headed to the hills to celebrate my grandparents in a spot they loved!! Actually, a spot we all love! It was so nice to get everyone together, and we found Fall up there!! The fishing was all time!! So beautiful! The perfect weekend. ❤️💛💚

Went to the mountains to lay our grandparents to rest in their favorite place, doing what they loved most, eating, laughing, and catching fish together as a family. They blessed us with more trout than we could count, the most beautiful changing leaves and memories that will last a lifetime. I couldn’t stop crying making this so I had to end it with @rseelbach s whopper of a fish that would have won the annual family fishing contest for sure! Kay and Norm sure would be proud of us ❤️🎣

Made it to Montana! My kids ask.. “Why does everyone ask where we’re from?” I answer “I think it’s me…” 😬 At least I found my buddy! 😜 Got the cousins, and took them fishing! Oakley’s family runs deep in Montana!! They came to Fishtail in 1898 and got 300 acres and grew it to 3200 acres and sold it in 1950. The history here is real! The remaining families had a reunion this year! Great seeing everyone!! Glad everyone made the effort. Hearing great stories and seeing all the great places they homesteaded. The Old Parker Ranch. The Oakley Parker (Oakley’s namesake) ditch he made! Fishtail general store that they bought for a few years, that is still going strong!! 7/7 The Family Brand. The Grizzly Bar. Where Oakley’s grandma danced on the bar! These boys got the family brand tattoo! These guys will soon get it! 😝 Celebrated some 250 years of America! The most epic parade in Red Lodge, Montana. Oaks flew in for a quick visit!! ❤️ Did some golfing with family and a friend. Fireworks!! 😂❤️ Merica. The Lehman’s and Gordons’s. ❤️🇺🇸
