Storytime with a side of Kelce family throwbacks! 📚❤️

Ed Kelce stopped by to read to our first graders, then gave them a peek at Travis and Jason when they were little, just like them!

Thank you, Ed, for sharing your time and a little family history with our children!

CATCHING FOR A CAUSE!

The NFL season’s here, and so is your chance to root for one of the good guys. While he may not be a Patriot - everyone has a character flaw or two! - Travis Kelce’s a great guy with a big heart, and we’re thrilled to once again be partnering with Travis and his Foundation, 87 & Running.

With your help we can make every one of Travis’ catches count for far more than touchdowns: just pledge a dollar amount for every catch Travis makes and support important educational programs in Cleveland (Travis’ hometown), DC and Boston (Jack’s actual and adopted hometowns). The campaign kicks off with the start of the season and continues until November 15th — that would have been Jack’s 30th birthday weekend, and we can’t think of a better way to mark that occasion than by continuing Jack’s legacy of ensuring that everyone is part of something that makes them feel known and loved.

No matter what team you root for, we hope you’ll be a fan of this partnership and help us make a difference in multiple communities - a win-win, regardless of the score. Pledge now at the link in our bio or here — https://charity.pledgeit.org/TravisCatchesforJack

First Chiefs game = one they will never forget! 🏈

Our younger kids got their turn to cheer on the Chiefs from Travis Kelce’s suite, and they even came prepared with homemade pom-poms in hand! 📣

What a way to experience game day for the very first time. Thank you, Travis, for giving our kids such a special night! ❤️💛

Thanks to Travis Kelce, our Ignition Lab students experienced the Chiefs’ first preseason game from his suite at Arrowhead! And to make the day even more special, they even got to see Donna Kelce while they were there!

An afternoon of Chiefs football, unforgettable memories and plenty of KC pride. Thank you, Travis, for giving our students a day they will never forget! 🫶

@kcai.bealsstudios recently hosted a collaborative workshop with @ignitionlab_ob (powered by @87running) at @operationbreakthrough, where high school students learned to safely operate a vacuum former, create custom molds from their prototypes, and cast cement coasters. The experience introduced students to the complete product development process, from concept development and prototyping to mold-making and final production.

KCAI alum Elena Smith (’24 @kcai_productdesign) now serves as the Product Design Facilitator at Ignition Lab. A former Beals Studios work-study student mentored by the staff of the David T. Beals III Studios for Art and Technology, Elena’s journey reflects the lasting impact of mentorship and hands-on learning. Seeing her return to guide the next generation of makers demonstrates how Beals Studios’ influence extends beyond the studio.

The workshop was co-taught by Beals Studios staff members Mike Cerv (@mikecervpottery) and Ki Jean Sierra (@porglets). In this video, students share their experiences at the Kansas City Art Institute, including Shameer Andrews, who reflects on how developing these skills has helped her imagine what she can create next. She describes the process as a stepping stone, where small projects can grow into larger ideas and future opportunities.

Earlier this year, Ki brought KCAI students to Operation Breakthrough’s campus to explore how the skills they develop at Beals Studios can translate into careers after graduation. Hosting Ignition Lab students at KCAI brings that relationship full circle, giving high school students a firsthand look at a college studio environment while introducing them to the creative opportunities available at KCAI.

Thank you to @ignitionlab_ob and @operationbreakthrough for collaborating with us and helping create new pathways for the next generation of makers.

Everybody’s talking about the wedding, the street closures, the ring, and the spectacle of it all.

But we had a different question:
What do Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce do philanthropically?

At Haute Giving, we look beyond the glamour to explore the causes, communities, and impact behind the headlines. And when you look closer, there’s more to the story — from food banks and disaster relief to youth development, STEM, education, and community giving.

Because gowns and rings may get the clicks but the causes deserve the coverage too.
