Using my own body as a site of investigation, this project examines posthuman aesthetics through processes of transformation and reconstruction. Situated between the organic and the synthetic, these images reflect my long-standing fascination with speculative identities and biomechanical forms.

The body is no longer understood as a fixed entity, but as an evolving landscape where technology, memory and identity continuously negotiate with one another.

How It Started vs How It’s Going (Part 8)

This is a sculpture I made for my claymation music video, in which I will be covering Polyphia’s Neurotica with my own clay merry band. I tried to faithfully recreate the “creature” I saw on Polyphia’s Remember That You Will Die album’ cover art, which is an original piece done by @888vampires. What was originally sculpted digitally in 3D, I remade in plasticine. Turned out pretty gnarly, if you ask me. The short clip showcases a moment in which it will be placed in my future video. That clip is from a full-length “rehearsal” music video I made, a precursor to the next best thing. I highly recommend you check it out.   Kuchiyose no Jutsu: @polyphia
