A FAMILY AFFAIR W/ THE GANG!
Enjoyed celebrating my friend, Khalil, last weekend for his 28th birthday. Met some great people, soaked up the great outdoors, and of course enjoyed some new and fun adventures!

one thing grief has made aggressively apparent is how important friends and community that will show up are. lots of people have words when you’ve lost a loved one but it’s the actions that hold you together 💚

I’ve finally recovered from my birthday last week. I know I’m getting older because I didn’t do too much and it took me a week to recover 🤣

I’m so grateful for 26 years of God’s faithfulness. This year was probably my favorite because of how He’s blessed me with so much community that cares so intentionally for me and my family. It’s crazy because this post doesn’t capture all of my people and amazing moments we’ve shared! Thank y’all. 🥹

Anyway. Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! Here’s to 26 and retiring the peace sign when I take photos. ✨

Sad my time at Winshape has come to an end, but glad I have so many amazing memories that will last a lifetime🫶🏻

Haven’t been on the gram for a minute— so here is what my summer has been like!

I got to work with @wscpintensives which was truly an honor and (with some pretty awesome people pictured) and got to go back to Dallas Texas (yeehaw), I read many books (ask me about Narnia), had a lot of coffee and visited new shops too (go figure?), explored a new town and stayed in a hotel by myself (big girl moves?!?), jumped a car for the first time (high five @y.a.m._.j.a.m), made some yummy food and took many runs (#adulting am I right?)

Aside from all of those lovely details- more importantly the Lord has been teaching me (key emphasis here on has been because plot twist I haven’t figured it out yet) to simply surrender and let go of control. Something I struggle with highly. Yet He has been so good this summer to show me He’s right by my side. Holding my hand and guiding me through the lonely, hard, and unknown. Learning to simply let go of the steering wheel, and trust that He’s got it. He’s shown me a whole lot of beauty this summer. Extremely grateful.
