goodbye choir ♡

i knew as soon as i stepped into the choir room for the very first time freshman year that this was going to be my hardest goodbye. from the very beginning, choir has been my happy place, my refuge, and my home. these last four years have given me so much more than i would have ever anticipated- self-confidence and determination, but most of all, a family. each of the nine choirs (crazy!!) i've been privileged enough to be a part of have individually taught me so much about not just music, but about what it means to show up for the person next to you, and for that, i am eternally grateful.

to my mixed chamber: all i can say is thank you. thank you for being the light of my life this year, for being what has kept me going, for picking me up when i fell down. i am so proud of each and every one of you, and i love you more than words can describe. thank you for being the best friends i could ever ask for.

to frazer: i would not be the person i am today without your patience and guidance. thank you for teaching me to never be ashamed of my voice.
