Another stride night for the books but last night it was different. Yesterday would’ve been my lil cousins 25th birthday yesterday Jeremiah “J Smooth” Carter. My cousin left an impact in a short amount of time that’ll never be forgotten about. It’s been 3 years without him but his presence is always felt on that floor and we’re gonna be here again same time next July. LLJC we miss you cuzo!!!

“THE JIGG WAS UP” last night. It never disappoints when it’s a @dynamicsundays and a @tnsk8__ takeover in one night. More reels will be on the way and more strides to be made as well!

Unity In Orange - Teens & Adults Rolling Against Bullying

"Generally, we should leave politics outside the rink and focus on the teaching & the youth, because everyone is going to get old. The youth is the future." NBK, Columbus, Ohio Striders

"In order to be a mentor, and an effective one, one must care." - Maya Angelou

PART 2: A continued conversation with Ohio Striding Superstars, NBK, from Columbus, Ohio, about youth & adults skating together during late night skate sessions. Also, what advice do they have for me as a skate coordinator trying to recruit more youth to participate in Unity In Orange - Teens & Adults Rolling Against Bullying event. Moreover, if they feel the event is worthwhile.

Again, my apologies about low sound quality at times for I did not have mics and was recording with my cell phone.

Thanks so much again NBK for I enjoyed talking with you guys and greatly appreciate your time, knowledge, wisdom, and insight! 🤗🙌🏾💪🏽🙏🏽🧡🧡🧡
