“HOME RUN….” Mixed Material on Canvas APATEWIN©️2025 Home run is my thanksgiving. God has been the wind beneath my wings. I am grateful. I started my journey in the arts with paper, charcoal and a drive and hunger that cannot be described. And every step God has been my rock, my fortress,my song. From a little boy from Bolgatanga he nursed and nurtured this seed. He sent the rain , He Made the sun come up . And He is faithful till today. I owe every breath I breathe to Him , every loss, every win , all sorrow and joy to Him. EVERY HOME RUN. Thank you Father .

I stand humbled and overflowing with gratitude as I reflect on the success of “The Spiral Staircase”—my debut open studio. To God, the ultimate Architect of this journey, I owe the deepest thanks. His grace carried me through every uncertain step, and His Hand guided each brushstroke, collage, and installation. Without His light, this vision would have remained a shadow. To every soul who walked through the doors, shared stories, or paused to ponder the staircases of their own lives: “Thank you”. Your presence transformed the space into a living dialogue—a testament to how art binds us all. To the collaborators who lent their hands and hearts, and the community that rallied behind me: you are the unseen pillars of this work. This event was not mine alone; it was ours. As a first-time exhibitor, I trembled at the thought of unveiling such vulnerable pieces. But your encouragement, critiques, and quiet nods of understanding reminded me why we create: to connect, to heal, to “ascend” together. The conversations sparked here—about faith, destiny, and the heroes within us—will fuel my fire for years to come. This is only the beginning. Greater visions await, and I carry your belief forward like a compass. To those who couldn’t attend but sent prayers and goodwill: you were felt. To the strangers who became kin: you are now part of this story. Again, to God be all glory. And to you, my village, I say: AYEKOO (well done). Let’s keep climbing.
