✎˖ᝰ✧˖° dear un var,

i don’t even know where to begin – except maybe with the most important words first: YOU DID THAT AND I’M SO SOOO PROUD OF YOU ALL. 💙🌻

from the very first practice to the moment you stepped off the stage as champions, i was lucky enough to witness every moment: the missed counts, the inside jokes, the stress over school and choreo, the quiet victories, and the loud ones too.

people doubted you. people questioned the team. but you answered them with nothing but hard work, heart, and a MONSTER CHAMPION TITLE to prove it. you did that. all of you.

to @mrk.jiro and @mchl.v , our captains who never hesitated to ask, lead, and love—y’all did amazing. thank you for making leadership fun again. ✊🏼

to Bob!! @9icelle , my baby sister turned powerhouse dancer—you’ve grown so much in two years and i will never get tired of saying i’m so proud of your dumb ass. 😭

to my co-managers — @vnct.rs , thank you for being the one beside me in every chaotic moment. @flyngeonzon , your mentorship has shaped these kids into dancers with spirit and soul.

to Kuya @chestermabanag , ANOTHER ONE! thank you for putting your trust in me as manager. it was a responsibility i never took lightly.

and me? you guys already know i’ll always be the one Ate waving her ARMY bomb in the audience, yelling too loud, tearing up every run, always present, just so all of you know you will NEVER lose support.

“i will fly away with you, nobody else. what do you say?”

at the start of this month, i flew to Jakarta to see someone i love perform. am i flying back by the end of this year to see people i love perform? 👀✈️🇮🇩

EXACTLY ONE MONTH AGO, WE COMPETED IN SINGAPORE!
A long overdue letter to everyone I want to thank. 💜

“I’ve never been afraid of big moments. I get butterflies... I get nervous and anxious, but I think those are all good signs that I’m ready for the moment.”

A month ago, I realized Steph Curry might be right (ofc I would bring out a Steph quote - he’s my favorite athelete after all). Where did I finally realize this? (queue Mandy’s quote) IN FREAKING SINGAPORE!!! 🇸🇬

The road to get there wasn’t easy at all. I caught myself overthinking and super anxious a couple of times the past few months about the expenses that skyrocketed when Imple was selected to join the UN SG varsity team, and if I could do what the choreographers expected me to do - it was an international stage after all. Bonus: Injured my foot a day before the competition and actually hyperventilated backstage after seeing an accident on stage - YIKES, it wasn’t easy AT ALL.

But being the girl that I am, I SAID YEAH OK WE’RE DOING IT AND WE MADE IT TO SINGAPORE! Jesus really said, “LET THE BASUBAS TWERPS DANCE IN SINGAPORE!!!”

Of course, there are a lot of people I need to thank for helping me and Bob get there. Slide 🔟 for continuation ➡️

Appreciation reel for @9icelle 💜

No words can express how incredibly proud I am of your growth in less than a year with @uncompanyph 🥹🫶🏼 Sacrificing things (esp coke and ice cream) to train and practice, reviewing school notes before, in between, and after rehearsals, helping me save money and doing gigs to help with expenses, then slaying the final center segment of your first competition EVER – you did that at 14 years old! 😤

I’ve seen how hard you worked academically and in dance, don’t ever let anyone say you didn’t do enough. Love you, Bob! I hope you had the time of your life competing and traveling with me and UN. Don’t ever stop dancing. 🥹✨

EVERYBODY SAY “GOOD JOB, BOB!!!” 😤🫶🏼

Ps. Apas pa kog long message for UN because deserve nyo hahahahahah
