What an experience DYW was!!!

This week was one of the most exciting and memorable moments of my life. The amount of growth that comes with competing at this program is so unreal to me, As well as the connection made through this program I will cherish forever!

This week has taught me so much: from getting out of my comfort zone and being on stage, interacting with an audience and especially trying something new! Honestly, I was scared, but the girls that are here are encouraging, loving, and supportive which helped me get through the week! Each one shines their light out to the world and are truly a servant of God!! I couldn’t have asked for a better Group of girls to have gone through this with!

Thank you for each one of you! I truly couldn’t have asked for a better group of support!!

This was definitely an experience I will carry with me through the rest of my life, and something I will always be proud to look back on!

It’s officially the week of Jefferson County’s DYW program! As my journey as Jefferson County’s Distinguished Young Woman comes to an end, I wanted to share some photos from my week at State!

I am honored to have been named 2nd Alternate to the Distinguished Young Woman of Alabama, as well as a Talent and Self-Expression Winner!

One of the best parts of this experience was getting to know so many incredible, inspiring, and talented young women from across Alabama. I’m so grateful for the friendships we made, the memories we shared, and all the fun we had throughout the week.

This journey has been one I will always cherish. It has challenged me, helped me grow, and given me opportunities and memories I will never forget. Thank you to everyone who supported and encouraged me along the way. Serving as Jefferson County’s Distinguished Young Woman has truly been one of the greatest honors of my life, and I’m so thankful for this unforgettable experience. ❤️❤️
