Tomorrow needs you.

September 10th is World Suicide Prevention Day. 700,000 lives are lost to suicide every year. Every year 700,000 families lose their loved ones to a battle nobody can see.

You are loved.
You are seen.
You matter.

Last week, seven minority student-athletes were asked to be on a lecture panel and answer questions on their personal experiences of being black athletes at Otterbein and the possible challenges they have faced being a minority in their sport.

The event was attended by members of the athletic department, including our athletic director and multiple coaches.

We are proud of our students for using their voices to give such profound personal insight on topics that we take seriously here at Otterbein.

This was the “Hear Me Out” event, 04-22-25.
