Tehran Night #528 @_.pershan
Five cuts from the mix.
Raw grooves, restless rhythms and a touch of psychedelia, moving between tension and playfulness.
Built for movement, not for standing still.

ARTIST OF THE WEEK! @_.pershan
Tehran-born and Istanbul-based, Pershan is carving out a distinct space in the underground scene with a sharp, uncompromising take on Tek. His sound is built on raw momentum, heavy low-ends, and a stripped-back approach that completely rejects mainstream trends. As the founder of Founders Records, he focuses on pushing a straightforward, high-energy club experience—bridging his roots with Istanbul’s evolving nightlife. No gimmicks, no commercial formulas. Just keeping it loud, heavy, and direct.

This week, we open HI-FI — the former Banger stage, now shifting into a new format built around DJ sets and listening sessions.

Thursday, @dianabenda_ warms up the room before the weekend.

Friday, MANIKFEST brings together three live acts from Izmir and Istanbul for a night of experimental sound and restless energy in SynthRoom — before @hate.moss takes the night into darker territory at HI-FI.

Saturday moves across the whole space: Tırpan Records Night brings the raw energy of garage rock, post-punk and punk to SynthRoom, @gochergy takes over HI-FI with a hypnotic flow, while @_.pershan brings heavier groove to the S.O.S. stage.

Sunday slows the pace with @blondestatement closing the week at HI-FI.

Bar open daily.
27–30 August at Noh Extended.

Film scans from my trip to Istanbul and Izmir that took place around two weeks ago. I had a great time and this adventure wouldn’t be so good without you, my friends 🖤

One more time, thanks to everybody who made this trip so special (and also to @nohradio & @yanakafe for a chance to perform) 🙌

And very special thanks to my turkish besties @merveedaal and @ilayddab - I love you so much 🫂
