Dear young people of Camp 30,

Welcome to the best family you could ask for!

This week you have cried, laughed, nurtured, overcome massive both mental and physical challenges and inspired not only yourselves, your camp family but your youth volleys and mentors also. You are all so powerful and beautiful in your own ways and your fierce passion for leadership and mental health shines through even throughout the challenges you found hard!

Like the way a diamond is formed under pressure, your family has been formed through those tears and challenges and it’s damn near impossible to break that bond that we all share now. You have all experienced the most unique and powerful camp in this world and walked out the other side stronger, empowered and full of love, beauty and inspiration.

Each and everyone of you have a story unique to you which, as you go through life, will only continue to inspire others and those around you. Im so proud to have been able to hear some of those stories throughout the last 5 days and looking forward to hearing more of them as we keep in touch and get to know each other better!

I feel so honoured to have been able to watch you grow through the last week and that you felt able to be your true authentic selves!

I love you all so much and welcome to the fam!

I always find when you get to this time of the year, you think "where did it all go?" it was only the time to start high school and now the countdown to graduation night is on!
The days are shorter and those challenges and targets you set yourself at the start of the year are looming large. But there's still time. Thank you to all my friends, teachers and staffs that made my journey through all the way here.
It’s that time of the year to say good bye 🤍
