First competition of 2026
Canyon summer clash
Event four 270lbs sandbag to shoulder x2
265lb husafell front carry 100ft
309lb Stone sandbag over bar
🥇
This one was what I'd imagined before the comp as best case scenario for me. Very surprised in the moment because of how much the yoke and deadlift took out of me I didn't think I'd have the energy for this kind of performance. But I guess this is where all of those consistent bike sprints and light mg walks on the treadmill have paid off. This would have been considered a week event for me just last year. But not anymore 💪

Saturday chest and arms done.
Even on the road in Junction City, Oregon, the discipline traveled with me. I felt that pull to get a session in, so I tracked down 448 Fitness, grabbed a five‑dollar day pass, and stepped into a new arena.
There’s something powerful about training in a different gym. New walls, new weights, new energy. It forces you out of your comfort zone and reminds you that consistency isn’t tied to a location — it’s tied to your mindset.

Spotify’s Dancehall playlist set the tone, and Sean Paul’s “Get Busy” flipped the switch. Momentum found me, the rhythm carried me, and the work got done.

Strength isn’t built by routine — it’s built by showing up anywhere, anytime, with purpose.
