From Your favorite cousin I miss you😢

It’s been two years… and I’m still not over you.
I don’t even think “getting over it” is real, not when it comes to you. Some people you just learn to live without, but you never stop missing them… and that’s you.

I miss you in ways I can’t even explain.
I miss your voice. I miss you calling me, even when you was going off on me. I miss how you stayed on me like you was my daddy… always checking me, always making sure I was straight. Back then I used to be like “here he go,” but now… I’d give anything just to hear you do it one more time.

It’s crazy how life works.
You don’t realize how much somebody really means to you until they gone, and now I feel it every single day. There’s so many moments I wish I could pick up the phone and call you, tell you what’s going on, hear you laugh, hear you talk your mess. And I can’t. That’s the part that hurts the most.

I ain’t even gonna lie… a part of me left with you.
And I’ve been trying to be strong, trying to keep going, but some days it still hit me like it just happened. I still cry. I still think about you out the blue. I still wish this was all just a bad dream.

But one thing I know for sure…
I love you. And I mean that beyond this life, beyond anything temporary. This kind of love don’t go nowhere. Death can’t take that. Time can’t erase that. You’re a part of me forever.

I just hope you can see me.
I hope you know how much you meant to me. I hope you know you’re still loved, still missed, still talked about like you never left.

I miss you… for real.
💛🖤
