Opening Electric Picnic THE OLD TOWN “LIVE” in FISH TOWN Yes, I was up first at 2026 EP and I will take the honours for that all day long. Of course the perils this slot is that is not many will be there as you forget the rollercoaster ride people have to go through to physically get into a huge festival with their bits and all that goes with it. My first point of thanks is to my son Louis & lovely Kate who got me in on and off stage ... you both were amazing people as always. To be honest I think it was one of the gigs of my life my heart and soul told me that and I so wished I could have shared this experience with more people but everyone knows as per a recent conversation with musician and festival organiser Paul Byrne that selling new original live music is such a difficult task these days. Regarding the performance I had the time of my life. I want to sincerely thank Jerry Fish for booking me on his incredible line up in Fish Town. Jerry works so hard from one year to the next to make his stage the best in town and he certainly succeeded in doing that what and incredible area he has created it’s the most authentic Rock’n’Roll platform in the festival in my opinion! I hadn’t a long overdue catch up with lovely DJ Dandelion who I will be sharing Culture Night with on the 18th in The James Joyce Centre and meeting the legendary artist personal driver Brendan Fitzpatrick who has driven for anyone worth their salt in Ireland backstage his stories were truly jaw dropping and amazing what a gentleman … there’s a book in you Brendan. I’m a performer and not a festival goer so I will cut my cloth accordingly for now on. So now the door now opens into another room and I take deep breath and waits to see what happens next… Thank you Jerry Fish and all at Electric Picnic Film by Louis St Ledger 💚🕊️🧡 ;)t #manonabridge #seeyouupthefront

Great to hear three amazing sets on a cold December night in Bennigans; the long-prophesied return of @kling_klang_band, with their new record ‘Half Life’ in a wonderfully heavy, but still full of synthesised goodness, live rendition (plus I nabbed a reissued copy of their first album), @_7lz___, fresh from the mind of Twinkranes, and with a massive Soma drum machine paired with Conny Plank moods, and Astoria‘a @asig_noise with epic electronic-avian ecologies

NEW: @afterwardnessrock w/ @_7lz___ 🗓️ 18th October 2025 Afterwardness is an experimental trio from Dublin, specializing in hypnotic, propulsive, and atmospheric soundscapes, shot through with sparky vitality and raw energy. The band embodies an uncompromising creative spirit that resists easy categorization and embraces sonic exploration. If you like dissonance, repetition, and unpredictability, you've come to the right place. Their latest release, Ding Dong - a limited cassette and digital download on the Diet of Worms label - is a fearless detour into the uncharted: noisy, loose, and full of cracked brilliance, channeling the uncompromising experimental spirit of acts like Faust, Chrome, and Cabaret Voltaire. Afterwardness celebrate the release with a live show with us on Curveball on Saturday October 18th, with support from 7LZ. 🎟️ on sale now!
