Chip was a legend in his own town. He spent his years chasing rabbits and squirrels the whole community would be put on high alert to bring him home. He would return stinking of fox poo and very pleased with himself. A fortune spent on training to no avail he learnt nothing - or refused who knows. If he was in the mood he might sit on command for a snack but that was it. Recall was absolutely ignored. Anyone who knows me knows at times he was a difficult dog to have but the one thing that oozed out of him was soppiness - he was the soppiest dog out there and this was how he charmed all. Full of love he never ever displayed any sign of aggression or territorial behaviour. Our vet said he was the only dog ever to lie back with a smile on his face and have his toenails clipped like he was having a massage. He was an odd dog to say the least but he was a loved dog. Thank you Chip for growing up alongside our children and being the perfect companion and friend to them. We will never forget you
