Running a restaurant is truly about teamwork. Without the effort, hard work, dedication, and passion of each and every team member, running a successful restaurant simply wouldn’t be possible. Every person plays an important role, and it is their collective commitment and passion that brings everything together. ❤️#teamlielle #lesenfantsdelacôte #liellela

I am always impressed at the seasonal modern Nordic influenced Californian tasting menu served at the one @michelinguide starred @lielle.la from chef @marcus.jernmark - I’m happy I got to introduce @minnieme819 to this awesome restaurant! The silky smooth chawanmushi or hen egg custard served in a 100 day aged pork broth with sorrel and @n25caviar Kaluga hybrid caviar… had to get this optional course! Miso sabayon finished with a pour of mushroom broth for the amuse course as the menu goes from late summer to autumn… The house made 36 hour aged rouge de Bordeaux & chestnut miso sourdough and 48 hour aged cultured Jersey cow butter is always served with the tasting menu! While a great selection of California wines are offered here, we got a sneak preview of some of the wines that will be offered at the about to open French California bistro @maree__la - I started with the 2022 @francoiscazin Le Petit Chambord Cour-Cheverny from Loire Valley… Another pic of the supplemental chawanmushi with caviar… Local heirloom tomatoes from @gomezmunak with salted husk cherries, marigold vinegar aspic & fresh cheese curd… Dry aged sea bream, mussels, oyster beurre blanc foam, baby artichoke hearts, espelette, caramelized turnip, fennel marmalade & bouillabaisse broth… Our second optional course - cornmeal polenta & semolina custard filled agnolotti with grilled lobster, black sarawak pepper and a distinctive mushroom essence sauce… Next up for the Marée wine selections - the 2021 Fratelli Brovia Nebbiolo d’Alba from Piedmont… The main course of Californian squab ‘rôti’ - grilled squab breast and leg, leek wrapped squab liver draped with guanciale, savory breadso miso, grilled corn, girolles or chanterelles, squash blossom & Dapple Fire pluots… Perfectly cooked squab breast! Rafael pouring the fortified champagne… The Famille Moussé Ratafia Champenois fortified wine liqueur made with Meunier grapes… The dessert course spread! Tres leches, salted milk ice cream, anise hyssop mousse, dried milk yuba skin & candied citrus for the main dessert course… A birthday matcha tiramisu for Min! The signature Swedish sticky boozy cardamom bun always comes with the dessert

last night’s milestone dinner at @lielle.la was incredible. @marcus.jernmark well curated menu is unbeatable right now, and that aged stripe jack with those smoky, bbq’d peas was unforgettable. i could’ve eaten a whole bowl of the peas alone — so good #liellela #lesenfantsdelacôte #aboutlastnight #shotoniphone

Absolutely floored by our dinner last night at @lielle.la. It’s no small task to stand out in an incredible food city like LA, but Lielle was a perfect blend of excellence in service, atmosphere, technique, flavor & textures - and to have every wine pair perfectly with a prix fixe menu…. it’s like a magic trick. Thanks to the talented team for an exceptional night. This dinner brought us so much joy.
